Early access
QuickBooks sync needs the Pro plan and is turned on per organization while it is in early access. Until then the page shows QuickBooks sync is in early access. Contact us to join.
What is sent to QuickBooks
InventoryFlo posts one journal entry per period for each kind of change, against your Inventory Asset account:
- Purchase receipts (against a receipts clearing account)
- Receipt reversals, including returns to the supplier
- Stock received without a purchase order
- Cost of goods sold
- Adjustments and shrinkage
Items, customers and invoices are not synced, and no bills are created: the receipts clearing account is cleared when you enter the supplier’s bill in QuickBooks.
Set it up
- Connect to QuickBooks and sign in with Intuit.
- Map the accounts: Inventory Asset, Cost of goods sold, Adjustments and shrinkage, Receipts clearing and Stock in without a purchase order.
- Choose one journal entry per Day, Week or Month, and a Start date.
- Check the Preview, then Start syncing.
A day is closed two hours after midnight; a movement recorded later updates the existing entry. Sync now, Pause sync and the Sync log are on the same page. InventoryFlo and QuickBooks must use the same currency.
